விளக்கம்
Being the most high volume segment, electric 3Ws are heading the electrification charge for the industry. It is only natural that legacy manufacturers start taking the segment seriously and shift from traditional CNG-based powertrains to battery power. Since RE (rear-engine) is not how the leader can position itself, GOGO is the new electric line-up that Bajaj has introduced for its 3Ws.
The Indian three-wheeler industry has witnessed significant changes, with electric penetration reaching nearly 20% in the L5 segment. In response, Bajaj Auto aims to capitalise on this shift, leveraging its extensive experience in the traditional three-wheeler market while addressing customer concerns regarding range, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Samardeep Subandh, President of Bajaj Auto’s Intra-City Business Unit, explains the rationale behind GOGO: 'There is a clear need for a brand that offers reliability and high earning potential. Customers have decades of experience with Bajaj’s traditional three-wheelers, but the EV transition demands an even greater assurance of reliability. GOGO is our answer to this need.'
P7012 Brings Longer Range & More Comfort
As part of the GOGO line-up of P70s and P50s, Bajaj Auto unveiled the P7012, an electric three-wheeler built for last-mile connectivity and cargo applications. With a certified range of 251 km, it outperforms many competitors, solving a key issue faced by drivers in the EV segment—range anxiety. The vehicle is powered by a 12.1 kWh LFP battery which offers stability, longer life cycles, and better performance under varying temperatures.
